Xiaomi is going to hold a new product launch event on September 15, where it’s expected to make a big announcement (three Android OS upgrades) to take over its rivals as part of becoming the world’s number 1 smartphone vendor.

The company has already confirmed that it will introduce the Mi 11T series next week and the latest Xiaomi blog post ensures THREE ANDROID OS UPGRADES for the upcoming smartphone lineup.
Per the content mentioned in the blog post, Xiaomi head said that the company is further extending the life cycle of Xiaomi’s smartphones by ensuring three generations of Android operating system updates.
Not only Android upgrades, but the Chinese tech giant has also promised four years of security updates for the Mi 11T series. However, it could soon be available for other eligible phones such as Mi and the select Redmi series.
Xiaomi pointed out that it’s not a simple task to provide system updates and security patches to all of its previous smartphone models. However, the prospect of this challenge and meeting the desires of our customers is exciting.
