Samsung has now started providing a new software update to the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphone consumers, which installs the latest February 2022 security patch, in order to enhance the overall system stability.

Initially, the latest Galaxy S9 February 2022 security update rollout is happening in the home ground of Samsung. However, international consumers can expect the expansion of this software update for the devices very soon.
To be noted, the Galaxy S9’s firmware update carries build version G960NKSU5FVA2, while Galaxy S9 Plus’ G965NKSU5FVA2. February 2022 security bulletin mentions several CVEs + SVEs items from the Android and One UI maker, respectively.
Launched back in early 2018, the Galaxy S9 series was shipped with Samsung Experience UX on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. These devices have already received two major OS upgrades, while the company is still providing new security updates.
