Per a xiaomiui report, Xiaomi is testing the stable Android 12-based MIUI 13 build for the popular POCO X2 smartphones. As reported, the latest test firmware sports build version MIUI 126.96.36.199.SKGINXM.
Notably, Xiaomi launched the POCO X2 handset pre-loaded with Android 10-based MIUI 10 software. On top of Android 10, the POCO X2 received the MIUI 11, followed by Android 11-based MIUI 12 and MIUI 12.5.
Right now, the POCO X2 consumers are enjoying the Enhanced variant of the MIUI 12.5 version, which can be identified via build version MIUI 188.8.131.52.RGHINXM.
When will my POCO X2 get Android 12?
As of now, it’s difficult to talk about an exact release date of Android 12-based MIUI 13 update for the POCO X2 smartphone. Although the test firmware seems hardly tested, the initial availability will be limited to Mi Pilot testers in various regions such as India.
Once seeded in the Mi Pilot channel, the company will gradually expand the reach of Android 12 update to more POCO X2 consumers, therefore, we can expect that the device will start getting MIUI 13 update by next month.
