Samsung has now releasing the April 2022 security update to the carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones. The latest update is presently released in the United States.

The company released the latest build version for carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 users. The device comes with an upgrade firmware version number F916USQS2GVC8 ( available on Sprint and T-Mobile networks), F926USQS1CVCC (available on only T-Mobile’s network).
The April 2022 security patch improves system customization and privacy controls that fixes over the 88 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung including 27 high and 18 moderate classes of CVEs. And saves your smartphone from viruses, and get some latest security functions.
Possibly, you may have received a notification of the new update. In case you haven’t got it yet, you can check for the OTA update manually by heading towards Settings » Software updates and tapping on Download and install.
