Samsung has pushed a new firmware update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone users. The device started receiving the all-new June 2022 security update for better system security and performance improvements and the most up-to-date Android security patches on your device. It is currently rolling out on the Verizon networks in the United States for Galaxy Z Flip 3 users.

It comes with an upgrade build version F711USQU2DVF1. This new software update brings the latest Android security patch and support for BYOD (“bring your own device”) when making the switch to Verizon from select carriers. It also includes new Camera features and the new Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) feature, which allows you to use two phone numbers on the same device.

If you’re not already on Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network, Galaxy Z Flip3 5G users from other North American carriers will now be able to bring their device and instantly switch to a better network.
Just insert and activate a new Verizon SIM card in your Galaxy Z Flip3 device and your device will automatically adapt to the Verizon network and experiences.
Advanced Auto Framinglets automatically focus the camera on people/subjects while recording video. It can detect people and their distance, and automatically shift focus and zoom to provide the best picture. To use Auto Framing:

- On the shooting modes list, tap VIDEO, tap the Capture button to activate it, and then record a video.
- To track and adjust the shooting angle and zoom in on a selected person, tap the frame that is displayed around the person.
- To deactivate, tap the frame again.

DSDS enables you to use two phone numbers on the same or different networks with Dual SIM support. You can register 1 physical SIM and 1 eSIM on your Galaxy Z Flip3 5G device.
Send and receive calls and messages on either phone number. One mobile data network can be used at a time as DDS (Designated Data Subscription). You can set the primary SIM and default phone number in Settings > Connections.
