Google announced last month that the Android 15 update would be available soon, starting with its own Pixel devices. A new report from Android Headlines suggests the release date of Android 15, with the update likely to arrive around mid-October, with October 15 being the most likely date.
This timing takes into account that Columbus Day falls on October 14, which is a Monday. Since Google often releases updates on Mondays, it’s possible the rollout could be pushed to the next day.

Once Android 15 became available through AOSP, developers were able to start creating custom versions of the OS for different devices. AOSP serves as a repository for the Android source code, allowing for various modifications and adaptations.
