The latest update to Google Clock has introduced (Discovered by 9to5Google) an exciting feature, the Timer Starter widget. This addition enhances the app’s functionality, particularly for Pixel device users.
The new Timer Starter widget allows you to quickly initiate a timer with default increments of 1, 5, and 10 minutes. You can also create custom timers that will be displayed for easy access on your home screen.
Customization Options:
- Create Your Own Timers: Tap the plus sign to add personalized timers.
- Display Options: Up to three timers can be shown in a list format, or in a side-by-side layout on tablets.
Dynamic Color is utilized throughout the widget, providing a visually appealing experience. When you start a timer, it transitions to a fullscreen user interface, making it easy to monitor your countdown.
Availability of the Timer Starter Widget, the new feature is currently available with version 7.9.1 of Google’s Clock app. While this update is being rolled out widely, users are primarily seeing it on tablets, with some reports of availability on phones as well.
