Google Pixel 8 Pro: Key specifications and features leaked

Later this year, Google is planning to announce its new flagship smartphones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Though the company hasn’t officially shared much about them, there have been several leaks revealing some exciting details.

According to a reliable source (Yogesh Brar), the Pixel 8 Pro will have a large 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It will be powered by Google’s own Tensor G3 chip and come with a Titan security chip.

The phone might be available in two versions, both with 12GB of RAM. The base model will likely have 128GB of storage, while a higher-end option could offer 256GB.

The camera setup sounds impressive, with a 50MP main camera featuring OIS (optical image stabilization), a 64MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera. There will be an 11MP front camera for selfies and video chats.

The Pixel 8 Pro will come with Android 14 out of the box and might include some unique features like a temperature sensor and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Battery-wise, it’s expected to have a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired charging support.
