Last month, Google released the Wear OS 5 update for Pixel smartwatches, which brought new features and improved battery life. Now, users can enjoy a handy notification on their smartphones when their Pixel Watch is fully charged.

Recently, some users received a simple notification saying, “Pixel Watch fully charged.” This feature, which lets you know when your watch hits 100%, is now becoming available to more people after a server update.

While it’s not clear why it took so long for this notification to spread, many users are now seeing it. You can also check the Bluetooth Quick Settings or use the Battery widget on Pixel phones for similar information.

In other news, there was no October 2024 security update for the Pixel Watch. The September update for Android 14 was pulled back because of a bug that required some users to reset their devices. However, many others did not experience issues and found Android 14 running smoothly on both the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2.

The upcoming October patch will be the first update for the Pixel Watch 3, focusing on fixing bugs rather than introducing new features.

There were also no updates for Pixel phones or tablets today. However, it’s possible that Google will roll out another security patch for Android 14 before Android 15 is released.
