After pulling Wear OS 5 for older Pixel Watches, Google is now releasing the Wear OS 5 update and November 2024 patch.
The November 2024 update for the Pixel Watch is here, bringing important changes to all supported models, including the Pixel Watch 1, Pixel Watch 2, and Pixel Watch 3. This update includes the latest security patches, bug fixes, and a few new features to improve the overall performance of your smartwatch.
For Pixel Watch 1 and Pixel Watch 2 users, the biggest change is that they’ll finally be getting the Wear OS 5 upgrade, which was previously delayed. This new version of Wear OS comes with several improvements, including performance updates, bug fixes, and new features.
Over the next week, the update will be rolled out in phases, so it might take a little time for it to show up on your device. Once it’s available for your Pixel Watch, you’ll get a notification on your watch to let you know.
The update also includes changes to the Play Store, improving camera controls, and updates to the Pixel Recorder app. For Pixel Watch 3 owners, this update brings security fixes and general bug fixes to keep your device running smoothly.
The update is available now for all supported Pixel Watch models, and the next update is planned for March 2025.
