Google is working on making it easier to change the watch face on your Wear OS smartwatch directly from your phone.

Right now, changing a watch face on Wear OS is simple, whether you do it from your smartwatch or the companion app on your phone.

When you install a new watch face from the Play Store, you can switch to it right away, but the process is about to get even easier.

In the latest version of the Google Play Store (APK version 43.9.17-31), a new feature was discovered that could let you set a new watch face from your phone with just one button.

After installing a watch face through the Play Store, a “set as watch face” button might appear, making it easier to change the watch face without needing to do it manually on your smartwatch.

This is a big improvement compared to the current system, which only has an automatic toggle to set the newly installed watch face, even though you may want to install it and try it later.

Having this “set as watch face” button on your phone is useful if you want to change your watch face but your smartwatch isn’t nearby, like when it’s charging or in your bag.

This new feature will give you more control over when and how you switch your watch face. While the button is there in the Play Store, it currently doesn’t work perfectly, but it’s expected to be fully functional soon.
