Google has teased an updated version of the Pixel Watch’s Concentric watch face twice, but it’s still not available to the public. The new version was first shown in October when Google shared a video about the Pixel Watch 3 design.
In the video, Google showed the Concentric face with a ring of complications—small pieces of information like weather, steps, or battery level—that you can add to the watch face. However, the current version of the Concentric face doesn’t support these features yet.
Later, during a Black Friday promotion, Google gave us another glimpse of the updated face, this time showing it in always-on display mode. The design looked almost the same, but now it could display up to four complications.
Current vs. New
However, both the design video from October and the Black Friday promo showing the new watch face have now been removed from YouTube. This has left many wondering if this means Google is no longer planning to release the updated Concentric face.
Although it is still unclear when or if Google will release this new watch Face, looking at it twice it seemed like Google was considering it but why they removed the new Concentric watch Face videos and promotion poster?
If Google adds complications to the Concentric face, it would become more useful for everyday use, not just as a stylish display.
