Samsung Galaxy M31 One UI 4.1 Beta is now official in India, bringing all the goodness of the Android 12 operating system made by Google. Unexpectedly, the company announced the One UI 4.1 Beta activity for such an old yet budget phone, months after concluding it for the flagship Galaxy devices.
March 16, Update — In addition to the Galaxy M31, Samsung has also announced the One UI 4.1 Beta activity for the Galaxy M32 LTE variants in the Indian market.
Like last year, Samsung is bringing the latest One UI Beta program to the Galaxy M31 mobile phone owners in India. If you are also a user of the M31 smartphone, then it’s time to head to the Samsung Members app, hit the Bell button to get the One UI 4.1 Beta program registration banner.
From here, you will be able to enroll for the One UI 4 Beta testing on your Galaxy M31. Shortly after finishing the enrollment process, the OEM will release the Android 12-based One UI 4 OTA for your handset, which can be accessed through the device’s Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
While the Galaxy M31’s One UI 4 update is still under development, you may face some bugs and issues after installing. Moreover, some stock applications may behave abnormal, and select third-party apps may be incompatible. Therefore, we recommend you take a backup of your important data before upgrading to Android 12.
Samsung One UI 4 is based on the Android 12 operating system that brings several new features and changes such as the new Privacy Dashboard, Dynamic Theming (Colour Palette), better third-party apps integration, refined network functionality and a lot more. However, the OTA includes the latest March 2022 security patch for increased system stability.
