The Pokémon Company made some exciting announcements at the Pokémon World Championships. They revealed new details about the upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This DLC, called The Indigo Disc, will be released in Winter 2023.
One cool feature is that players will be able to catch Starter Pokémon in the wild. This has been done before in other Pokémon games, but here players can use special Poke Balls to catch them.
There’s also a mysterious new addition called the 19th Tera Type. It seems like this will let Pokémon have two Tera Types at once, which can make their existing types even stronger. We’ll learn more about this when The Teal Mask is released next month.
Two new Pokémon, Raging Bolt, and Iron Crown, were introduced along with their types and special moves. Raging Bolt is an Electric/Dragon-type Pokémon that can use a powerful move called Thunderclap.
Iron Crown is a Psychic/Steel-type Pokémon that has a move called Tachyon Cutter, which hits an opponent twice. Another new move, Psychic Noise, was shown, which stops a Pokémon from healing.
